The Ostrich Inn prides itself on offering the best of local food in a warm welcoming atmosphere.

The quality of the food and the menu range has earned good revues from the food critics and has lead to the Ostrich Inn being listed in all the leading Pub guides. With wooden beams and a welcoming log fire in the large lounge bar throughout the winter, visitors can enjoy a relaxed and friendly setting as a backdrop to the exceptional food.
Diners can be served in either the small intimate restaurant, the larger lounge bar, or weather permitting, can enjoy their meal alfresco in the rear or front gardens. Prices and the menu offered are the same wherever the food is served. All food is freshly prepared and cooked on the premises and, in addition to the main menu, there are comprehensive specials and sweets boards which change regularly.
In Harden's Top UK Restaurants, described as almost certainly representing the most comprehensive independent survey of UK restaurants ever, the Ostrich Inn is one of fewer than 50 restaurants throughout the UK to have been awarded the top '**A' rating for excellence of food and atmosphere.
